Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Jonathan Covey, who serves patients in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

As a practicing psychiatrist, Dr. Covey specializes in mental health. Assessing mental and physical symptoms, he sees patients at his private practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He also serves as an Instructor at University of Colorado School of Medicine.

On his path towards becoming a psychiatrist, he obtained his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 1979. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine at Chapel Hill in 1988. From there, he served his residency in psychiatry at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. 

With over three decades of experience in his field, Dr. Covey specializes in psychiatry and neurology. He is the recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award (2015).

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders.
